Celebrating the end of our first school year at Llamado Eterno Christian School was a moment of pure joy and unending gratitude to the Lord for all He has accomplished in the lives our our 37 little ones. Next year, the school will be growing to 82 children pre-k through second grade!
The Scholarship program
With 140 children receiving full scholarships to attend school throughout 17 different public schools of Danlí and El Paraíso, Honduras, we have a lot to be thankful for! These children have all benefited from the tutoring program at church we host on Saturdays, where they receive free classes in Spanish, math, English, and computer.
Our beautiful church is beyond blessed by two amazing pastors with servant-hearts, a congregation ready to put love in action, and multitude of children filled with love and energy. Our youth group has been growing in numbers and energy, often leaving the church building to reach out to the community. We also enjoyed a leadership conference with Pastor Dave Bream and Elder Tim Duff from Hillside in the fall that served to edify and encourage leadership of the church.
Our little Lucia is growing bigger and brighter every day. She is almost ten months now and trying her hardest to learn to walk. She loves crawling, pulling herself up, "furniture walking," and helping us baby-proof by finding any danger in the house. Praise God, she is happy as can be and perfectly healthy.
